We’ve had some great trips, but will anything ever compare to the Flower Hole? Over the next few editions of the Turn, we want to share highlights from some of our favorite trips this year. I don’t think there is a better place to start than SentryWorld in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.
THE COURSE
SentryWorld
Hole 16 (CYNTP Media)
SentryWorld is a golf experience that is truly unlike any other. Tucked away in central Wisconsin, this championship course is designed to be different. With tee times spaced 20 minutes apart, you’ll never feel rushed, letting you take in the perfectly manicured fairways and stunning scenery. The course is only open from May 30th to September 30th, a short window that ensures the conditions are always pristine and ready for an unforgettable round.
One of the best parts of playing SentryWorld is the all-inclusive experience. Your green fee covers unlimited food and drinks at two refreshment stations right on the course. Whether you’re in the mood for a custom cocktail, a cold beer, or something sweet like locally made ice cream, you’ll find it there. Hungry? Grab a hot meal or a quick snack between holes. It’s these experiences that make your day at SentryWorld one for the books.

Heidi’s Rating: 10 / 10
Experience: “Their claim is “Pure Golf” and it truly lives up to that. There’s nothing else to do there but play amazing golf. Dunes course is everything links golf should be: huge fairways, more pot bunkers, giant greens, and lots of wind. Ive never seen the courses in bad shape, even opening weekend at the beginning of the summer. The lodge, restaurant, and hospitality are second to none. You won’t regret making this a destination.”
THE TRIP
Stevens Point, Wisconsin
It’s time to start thinking about what trip you will be taking in 2025! Luckily, we have you covered. Remember that SentryWorld is only open from May to September and it is in extremely high demand. So if you are even thinking about visiting, read through this to learn a little more about what the property has to offer. Spoiler: we recommended booking a night or 2 at the Inn, we will explain more below though!

1 or 2 Rounds at SentryWorld Golf Course (unlimited food & drink while playing)
2 Nights at The Inn at SentryWorld (preferred tee times with booking)
Don’t Forget: Dinner at PJ’s (on the property) is as good as it gets!
